To become a member of the Oklahoma B.A.S.S. Federation Nation an individual must first be a B.A.S.S. member, then join an affiliated club (click on the “Club Corner” tab to find one in your area). By joining an OBFN affiliated club you will have paid national Federation dues ($20) that entitle you to all of the benefits of both national and state membership such as an annual subscription to B.A.S.S. Times magazine, free membership into the BASS Insider website, $1M liability insurance coverage during BASS-sanctioned events, and eligibility to compete in state, divisional and national tournaments (including a series that leads to the Bassmaster Classic).

For bass clubs that wish to affiliate with the OBFN, our bylaws state…

All B.A.S.S. affiliated clubs (chapters) are eligible and will be invited to join the Federation. Chapters must have a minimum of six (6) members that are at least 16 years of age, to affiliate with the Federation Nation, or with B.A.S.S.

The club membership dues shall be $250.00 annually. This fee must be paid before the start of the Annual December board meeting for clubs of record. New clubs joining after the meeting must pay when joining. The fee will cover the following; (1) Allows eligibility for participation in State sanctioned qualifying tournaments, (2) makes clubs eligible to enter six persons in the OBFN Top Six Team Tournament, and (3) buys each club one page on the OBFN website.
